Welcome to Sous. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sous mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by Arc Social Company ("Sous," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Sous. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Infringes on others' intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Contains spam or unauthorized advertising
  • Violates any applicable laws
  • Misrepresents your presence at a restaurant

4. Presence Verification

Sous is built on authentic presence verification. You agree to only post content from restaurants you have actually visited and dishes you have actually eaten. Attempts to fake or manipulate presence data may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Collect user information without consent

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user content) are owned by Arc Social Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARC SOCIAL COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arc Social Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
